Inter 1 Gymnastics is a progression class designed for gymnasts who have already developed a strong foundation and are ready to build on their existing skills. Entry to this class is by invitation only, as it requires a solid understanding of technique, control, and previous experience in our gymnastics programme.

In this class, gymnasts will begin learning more challenging tumble sequences and start progressing toward skills such as round-off back handsprings, aerials, and variations of somersaults. Flexibility training will become more focused, introducing more dynamic movements including advanced bridges, kickovers, and split-based transitions.

We’ll also introduce core strength drills and conditioning exercises to support the demands of higher-level partner work and balances. At this level, students will begin exploring more refined balances such as chest stands, handstand shapes, and start learning to connect movements with greater control and precision.

To be considered for this class, students must have completed our Crazy Tumblers programme. Coaches will guide each gymnast individually, and when they’re ready to move up, we’ll support them every step of the way.
